We warmly welcome young audiences to the Theatre and to the performances that are appropriate for them.

Here are some guidelines for parents to help us make the experience of going to the Theatre more memorable for children
.

Help the child understand being in the Theatre is
different, for example, from being in the cinema.

Be early. Try to arrive and be seated before the
    performance begins.

Take care of both your children's and your personal
needs (going to the restroom, consuming food and beverages) before the show begins as no food or drinks are allowed in most theatres.

Right before the show is about to begin, the lights
in the theatre will go off. Prepare them for the dark or bright lights and possible loud noises so that they will not panic.

If something upsets your child, take your child out
of the auditorium and into the lobby where you can talk to each other and he or she can calm down before returning to the theatre.

Do encourage your children to laugh or applaud
with enthusiasm appropriately. Applause is a sound actors are thrilled to hear and responding appropriately will also allow your children to feel like they are part of the production.

Enjoy being with your children in the theatre.
